Q: Why put so much personal information on your web site?

A: It is really hard to get to know somebody only from reading a resume or seeing a portfolio of their work.

As a former Creative Director looking for freelance talent and a former supervisor/hiring official looking for a full-time employee, I've spent my share fair share of time reading resumes and looking at portfolios trying to figure out who would be the right fit to fill a key role in my organization -- it's not easy.

So, I have created this web site because it has exactly the kind of information I would want to know when considering a prospective freelancer or full-time employee. My goal for this site was to give people an easy, one-stop place to go to objectively analyze my technical and creatve skills.

Q: Aren't you afraid of hackers or some other miscreant using your info against you somehow?

A: Everything about me on this web site is easily accessible from somewhere else using a simple google search. I am just making it easier to find for the people I actually want to find it. Besides, it won't take hackers (or some other miscreant) long to find out that there are much bigger and more interesting fish out there in the vast Internet sea.

I did leave out some key details to make it a little bit tougher for hackers and identity thieves. However, I have met a hacker or two in my time and, if they want my info, they'll get it.

Q: What are you, some kind of ego maniac?

A: I don't think so. It's possible, I guess.
